Two new routes between Italy and Georgia have been inaugurated: on 24 April the first direct flight between Tbilisi and Forlì (it will operate one frequency per week, on Thursday), while on 26 April the connection between the capitals of the two countries started, with two frequencies per week (Wednesday and Saturday). The flights are operated by Georgian Airways, which has already been operating out of Milan since last year.
"These new routes are a very attractive opportunity for travellers and will help broaden knowledge and intensify contacts between our countries," said Italian Ambassador Massimiliano D'Antuono in his speech at the inauguration ceremony held in the presence of institutional representatives and airport authorities.
