Iran condemned "Israel's continued acts of aggression and terrorism" in Gaza and Lebanon. "The ongoing siege of the Gaza Strip and obstruction of the delivery of humanitarian aid, along with intensified attacks on refugee camps and temporary shelters for displaced persons, are clear examples of war crimes and crimes against humanity," Tehran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said, condemning Israel's actions and calling for action against the Jewish state by the international community. The official also criticised "the lack of action by the UN Security Council" and blamed the US and some European countries for supplying Israel with weapons, saying that these states "are complicit in Israeli crimes", Mehr reports.
