"The two study days dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first Italian-Tunisian archaeological mission have come to an end. A debate full of ideas, organised at the Bardo Museum in collaboration with the Institut National du Patrimoine'. This was written on X by the Italian Diplomatic Representation in Tunisia, echoing the words of the Italian ambassador Alessandro Prunas, according to whom 'Italy is proud to be Tunisia's first archaeological partner. Together we have built a cooperation model based on the exchange of expertise and mutual enrichment, in the name of scientific rigour, innovation and the promotion of local development'. The study days at the Bardo Museum allowed the directors of the joint excavation missions to present the work carried out to date at important archaeological sites throughout the country, as well as the projects in the pipeline, also in a popularising key.
