"Measures that will further strengthen cooperation between Italy and Turkey" will be discussed tomorrow during the 4th Italo-Turkish intergovernmental summit attended by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was stated by the communications director of the Ankara presidency, Fahrettin Altun, in the first official Turkish confirmation of the holding of the summit, scheduled to take place tomorrow in Rome.
During the talks, "views on topical regional and global issues will be exchanged," Altun added in a message on X. "The summit is also expected to include the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening the contractual basis of relations between the two countries and the organisation of a Business Forum with the participation of business circles," the Turkish official concluded.
